Chelsea warned: Write off Man City at your peril!

first_imgChelsea have been warned the Premier League title is not in the bag just yet.The Blues are five points clear at the top of table following a hard-fought win at West Ham on Wednesday and have a game in hand on second-placed Manchester City. But City have produced a late charge twice in the past three seasons to steal the crown, and Paul Dickov reckons his former club have it in them to do it again.Speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, the ex-Scotland striker said. “Chelsea are absolutely flying, but with ten games left it wouldn’t surprise you if Man City went on a run.“It is going to be really difficult for them, but twice in three years they have come from behind to win it and a lot of players are still in the changing room that know how to do that.”With City falling behind in the title race and on the verge of a Champions League exit, manager Manuel Pellegrini is coming under increasing pressure. But Dickov believes the club’s hierarchy will want to give the Chilean every opportunity to get it right.“I know the owners at Man City are really loyal people, they want to give people a chance,” he said.last_img read more
