LG announces K11Plus, K11 Alpha budget smartphones with military grade durability

first_imgSouth Korean multinational LG recently announced the launch of two of its budget smartphones– K11 Plus and K11 Alpha in Chile. The phones are a successor to the company’s K10 series which was first introduced back in 2017.As far as LG K11 Plus is concerned, it features a 5.3-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It features a scratch resistant metal cover design that supports MIL-SPEC military grade durability. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek processor and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.In terms of memory, LG K11 Plus sports 2GB RAM and 32GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card. As far as the camera is concerned, the phone comes with a single front and rear camera. While on the front, K11 Plus comes with a 5MP sensor, on the rear side, the phone features a 13MP sensor with phase detection auto focus and flash. In terms of connectivity, K11 Plus supports Wi-Fi 801.11, Wi-Fi direct, GPS, Bluetooth, FM Radio and micro USB Type-B.It also comes comes with a fingerprint sensor which is placed on the rear side of the phone below the camera and flash. K11 Plus features DTS:X surround sound and it is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. It is available in Blue, Black and Gold colour variants.As far K11 Alpha is concerned, the phone is similar to K11 Plus in terms of features and specifications. Both the phones will be available sometime in August.
