According to The Observer the report acknowledges the role played by the Notre Dame Police in the criminal justice system and the role law enforcement has played in the “dehumanization, oppression, and the infringement of basic civil and human rights of people” in the US.The report pledged to hold NDPD accountable, and detailed a series of new and existing initiatives, including the use of cameras, to prevent systemic racism.
