Photo credti: domincaweekly.comKalinago Chief Garnet Joseph is calling on Dominicans to respect a move by the indigenous people for a name change.He was speaking in the wake of a decision to change the name carib to Kalinago but Joseph says while several persons have made that change there are others who have failed to respect the decision.“We are fully aware of Government officials who do not want to use the name Kalinago and some media houses. This is an issue for us. Everyone needs to use it. It’s just like the use of the word territory.
