first_imgSubmitted to Sumner Newscow — Today’s Wellington High School bulletin for Friday, Sept. 16, 2016:Friday Wellington at Rose Hill, 7 p.m.Saturday Tennis at Kingman, 7 p.m.9th volleyball at Garden Plain, 9 p.m.Today’s lunch — Chicken Nachos, Mexican Pizza, salad.Tomorrow’s lunch — Cheese pizza, corn dog, salad.Today’s News: *The first Work Ethic Meeting will be on Wednesday, October 5 at 11:30 am in room 107.*Crusader Committed is hosting a back to school dance on Friday, September 23rd at the tennis courts after the home football game from 9-11:30 pm. Free hot dogs and drinks will be provided.*Share your culture from all around the world on Family Day, Monday, September 26th. Family Day is one way to show the importance of family and eating together. Mrs. Lawless’ career connections class is hosting a family dinner and you are invited! All you need to do is bring your family and your favorite dish. This year we will be celebrating in the memory of Tater Armenta. Please sign up inMrs. Lawless’ room by Thursday, September 22. Hope to see you and your family there!*All new NHS member applications are due to the office today.*There will be a parent informational meeting regarding the trip to Spain with Mrs. Groom on Monday Sept 19th at 8 pm in room 101.*Chad Cargill will be at WHS to present an informational and motivational workshop on how to improve your ACT test scores. It will be held on September 23rd at WHS from 8:30-11:30. The cost for WHS students in only $10. You can sign-up  and pay in the counselors office.*If you have any drawing or painting projects  left from last year- Please pick them up TODAY!*Circle of Friends applications can be found outside Miss Gray’s room (503). Please return the application by September 23rd to Mr. Ginter or Ms. Gray.* Sophomores and Juniors- The PSAT will be given here at WHS on Wednesday, October 19th at 8 am. Cost is $15. If you are interested, please sign up with Mrs. Hatfield in the counselors office by  September 20th.*There will be a hunter safety course on September 24th and 25th.To register go to safehunters.com .
