The Globe and Mail: Exxon becomes newest member of B.C. LNG Alliance

first_imgThis is the alliance promoting the development of a liquefied natural gas industry in northern B.C. and includes major players like Chevron Canada, Shell Canada Energy and Petronas.An Exxon spokesman says the company is looking forward to working with government to develop a world-class LNG industry in Canada’s west, according to the Globe.The company has a license to export as much as 30 million tonnes of LNG annually and has entered an option agreement with the City of Prince Rupert for a site at Tuck Inlet.- Advertisement -Overall, this makes Exxon the seventh member of the B.C.
